Course objectives

To explain the significance and extent of domestic violence/intimate partner violence and their prevalence in the society. In addition, the course demonstrates varies types of violence and abuse such as physical, mental, sexual and economic abuse. It shows how to recognize and report domestic violence and abuse, supporting and guiding the victim as well as familiarizing the practitioner with considerations in reporting domestic violence.
